Here are some questions that could be asked of the prospective pastor. For example, what does he believe about the Bible and about Jesus Christ? Does he believe that the llamativo manuscripts in which the Bible was written were written without error? Does he believe that Jesus Christ existed before He was virgin born? Does he believe that Jesus was born of a virgin? How is a person saved? Does he believe that we are born Ganador sinners? What does he believe about women elders and pastors? What are his views about homosexuals, abortion, eternal judgment, spiritual gifts, the seeker movement, and the ministry to younger and older people?

When he comes, he meets with the Call Committee, the leadership team, and maybe others in the church. If you think a pastor is teaching error or false doctrine, you must do your homework and attempt to determine if his teaching agrees with Scripture. If eventually you are convinced he is teaching error, then you must approach the pastor about his error.
His children are obedient and his wife is in subjection. This demonstrates that he is a model example of one who knows how to lead his family. His family members are Christians who are obedient to the Lord. If these characteristics are true of him, then he is qualified to be a leader in the church.
A common accusation that some hurl at those who believe that action must be taken is that Jesus taught us to not judge others. But such comments miss the point of Jesus’ teaching. If they were correct, then no one would ever be removed from office. The church would have to allow disqualified elders to remain in office.

When you see a man who wants things his way, he is not qualified to be in the ministry. A self-willed man is very difficult to work with. He might be eager to fight every theological battle that comes along. Or, he might minimize the teaching of the Word of God in order to achieve his own goal. That is a common pattern.
